We're Maple Row Hair Studio, a unisex salon on Main Street in Madison. We opened because we wanted a place where anyone could sit down, say what they were hoping for and be heard properly before anyone reached for the scissors or the color bowl. That's still how we work. Every appointment starts with a conversation about your hair, your routine and the things you've liked or hated about past visits. From there we shape a cut, color, balayage or treatment around you, not around a trend we think you should wear. We keep the studio small and relaxed on purpose. You'll get the same stylist each time if you want one, honest advice when something won't suit you, and a finish you can recreate at home without a cupboard full of products. We use good-quality color and care products and keep learning new techniques so your options stay current. Most of our clients come from Madison and the neighborhoods around it, and many were sent by a friend. That matters to us, so we try to earn it every time.
